In the production process, it is often necessary to judge whether the fabric has gone through the singeing process because of some quality problems in the production process, so as to find out the real cause of quality problems.

★ Judging from the finish of the cloth: after burning the fabric surface finish is better, almost no long hair, short hair has significantly reduced, cloth cotton knot less, full and uniform color. Without burning the fabric against the light can be found to have a small amount of long fiber above 5mm, and about 2mm short fiber is more, cloth cotton knot more, fabric color is obviously uneven, can see the difference in depth on the cloth.

★ Judging from the uniformity of the fabric edge: the residual weft yarn will appear obvious length difference after burning the fabric edge, the size of this difference has a great relationship with the burning process; The fabric that has not been treated by the woolen process has a uniform edge and no obvious difference of uneven length.

★ Judging from the residue of fiber burning: fabric weft direction and chemical fiber fabrics can be judged by analyzing the shape of the weft yarn on the fabric edge to determine whether it has been burnt. Because the chemical fiber has a melting process, the traces of chemical fiber melting can be seen in the weft yarn residue of the fabric edge after the sintering process. Under normal circumstances, the naked eye can be observed, the hand has a ball and tingling sensation, under the microscope can clearly see the traces of melting.
