Discussion on the method of solving the broken end in roving unwinding

With the increase of packing and the extensive use of suspension roving frame, the problem of breaking of roving in unwinding is becoming more and more serious. By analyzing the causes of breakage during roving unwinding, the following solutions are summarized:


1) For the break caused by the tension of the roving unwinding, such a break can be completely eliminated by setting the roving twist coefficient reasonably, adjusting the position of the yarn guide rod, maintaining the flexibility of the spints, and eliminating the problem of flaring blockage.


2) For the break caused by thick knots and long details without twist, as long as such roving defects are controlled.


3) On the hanging spindle roving frame, in order to facilitate the production of the head after the doffing, there is a special auxiliary pile circle in the upper part of the roving tube. Due to the improper doffing operation of the roving value turning man, it is more common for the roving to break the head at the upper pile circle when the roving is unwound to the last two layers.


This kind of severed head needs to follow the correct positioning and doffing operation method, and can be completely avoided. Correct positioning and doffing operation method: maintain the correct height positioning of the tendon, the starting spinning position must be higher than the position of the pile circle. When driving after the doffing, the tendon goes upward, and the roving yarn is first wound from the upper position of the pile circle to the lower part of the pile circle, and the pile circle is compressed. Even if adhesion breakage occurs, the roving length left on the roving tube is already very short, so the production is not affected.


4) The other is completely different from the above three types of breakage, the breakage law is as follows: in the roving large yarn unwinding less, and in the small and medium yarn (especially small yarn) gradually increased; In chemical fiber varieties more, cotton varieties less; Some roving sticks and some not; It is more likely to appear when the temperature and humidity are low; Some roving yarns even form a small loop (sometimes a bundle of fibers) behind the small yarn, resulting in an indefinite severed end. The main reason is the breakage caused by the roving adhesion caused by various factors.


The solution of this kind of decapitation measures: control the unevenness of the weight of the strip, especially to reduce the thin strip; Replace the old false twister in time, and clean the false twister with gasoline regularly when spinning chemical fiber; To ensure that the hollow arm of the ingot wing is smooth, it should be cleaned regularly with gasoline strip. Adjust the temperature and humidity of the workshop according to the raw materials, especially the relative humidity in winter should be moderately high control, in order to solve the adhesion break when the roving is unwound caused by the static electricity of the raw materials; Reasonable design of roving twist coefficient (should not be too small) and spinning tension; Roving storage time should not be too long; Reduce various causes of poor roving forming and so on.


Through the implementation of the above measures, the broken end caused by the roving unwinding is obviously reduced, the labor intensity of the value turning workers is reduced, the production efficiency is improved, the production cost is reduced, and the yarn quality is improved.
