Fabric to distinguish

To judge whether the fabric is sword-woven fabric or air-jet fabric, the fabric edge structure can be seen:

(1) Polyester thread is usually rapier (hem device), filament is jet woven (planetary gear device).

(2) Air jet double open fabric, one side for thread and the other side for filament. (The middle is the edge locking device, and the two sides are equipped with planetary gear).

(3) Rapier double open fabric, both sides of the yarns are polyester cotton (both for the lock device).

Loom to distinguish

Rapier loom: a rigid or flexible rapier head is used to grip and guide the filling. Rapier loom is suitable for weaving plain and grain fabric, it is characterized by convenient color change, suitable for multi-color weft fabric, suitable for yarn-dyed fabric, double pile fabric, looped fabric and decorative fabric production.

Air jet loom: the weft is pulled through the shed by the compressed air jet. Air jet loom is characterized by fast speed and high labor productivity. It is suitable for plain weave and grain fabric, fine ultra-high density fabric and large batch fabric.

Advantages and disadvantages of grey fabric

(1) There are many varieties of fine count yarn of grey cloth produced by jet machine, and the varieties have higher blocking rank, which are mainly light and light fabrics; Rapier machine generally thick yarn varieties, varieties of lower block, mainly for heavy fabric.

(2) From the point of view of equipment, air jet and rapier are nothing but different weft insertion.

(3) the fabric with the same organization, the raw material cost is the same, the weaving cost is lower, such as twill, the jet speed can reach more than 800 turn, the rapier only 180-200 turn or so, the jet block car personnel look at 10-12, and the arrow rod up to 4-6.

The commonness and opposites of fabrics

Common: all rough edges, can be the same specifications.

Opposite sex: on the premise of the same yarn count and specifications:

The weight of air jet is slightly lighter.

The flatness of air-jet fabric is better than that of rapier production.

The shrinkage of the air-jet loom fabric will be larger.

The quality of air jet yarn is better than that of rapier.
