What does the CPSC cover?

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is a federal agency under the federal Consumer Product Safety Act of the United States. According to the Consumer Product Safety Act of the United States, manufacturers and importers of children's products must provide written CPC, CPSI and ASTM test reports based on the test results of CPSC-approved laboratories to demonstrate that their products meet the appropriate children's product safety regulations. Other products need to apply for relevant certification, FDA certification, FCC certification, sunglasses also need to do FDA ball test and so on.

The CPC certificate covers the following contents:

1. Product identification information covered by this certificate

2. Each CPSC children's product safety regulation referenced by the certified product

3. The company information of the US importer or manufacturer to be certified

4. Contact information of test data maintenance personnel

5. Production date and address of the product

6. Date and address of compliance test for safety regulations of consumer goods

7. CPSC-accredited third party laboratory that conducts compliance tests required for certification

If the above conditions are not met and the goods are sampled in the course of the inspection, the customs will determine that the goods do not meet the conditions and deduct the goods.

In addition, Amazon's CPC certification is mandatory for children's products. If there is no CPC certification, the products cannot be sold on the shelf platform.
